Samsung ready to take the starting plug off of SIRI
Samsung is said to be in talks with the company partially behind the sweet voice (aka virtual assistant) inside Apple iPhones, SIRI.
Naunce is the name of the company. The company is said to be even responsible for Samsung’s S Voice which is a regular feature in latest Samsung flagships and top smartphone models.
According to the World Street Journal, Samsung is looking to buy the brand but a specific price haven’t been mentioned yet.
We also know that yesterday, Naunce’s market cap rose from $5.5 billion to $6 billion due to excitement from the reports of the deal.
Samsung has repeated that it needs to spend more on R&D and buying Naunce wouldn’t be a bad move toward the dream at all.
