Samsung really serious about introducing Tizen phone in India; Details inside
Samsung has ever since before now raised interest in releasing a mobile phone with an OS of it’s own, far from the tough ‘chains’ of Android. The Korean phone maker has failed each time. Not because it doesn’t know how to make these phones but because developers aren’t interested in developing apps for the young platform.
What Samsung earlier did was to create the Samsung Z, but the above reason caused them not to release the smartphone on the D-day, twice. And now, the Koreans are back with a bang, hoping for a charm that will workout in India.
Industry sources claim that Samsung has actually made a Tizen-powered entry-level smartphone which is currently undergoing tests. The phone is said to be having a 4-inch display, 0.5GB of RAM and a 3.2MP camera. Other details remain gloomy for now.
The device is expected to be sold under 10,000 rupees when it breaks cover. Finally, with all the hula hobo going on with Tizen, one will be naturally tempted to ask the most important question about this new OS, “has Tizen got apps finally”?
