Samsung rolls out August patch to Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in Europe
Samsung is pushing out a new update to a particular set of its devices and they are providing this new software support for none other than the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge which can be considered as relatively old in the line-up of their flagships considering that three new smartphones have jumped on that train since they were released to the market.
This new update was rolled out to the users of any of these devices in Europe and like the updates that we have seen during the week on the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in Italy, India and the United States, we expect that this one would also spread to other parts of the world in due time.
As we all know, these kinds of updates go to the unlocked versions first and it takes the aforementioned smartphones to the state of August security updates. For now, we are not sure whether or not there are other changes in the changelog of this update asides from the August security patch.
OTA updates do take time to roll out and this would not be an exception. Therefore, either wait patiently for a notification to pop up or take matters into your own hands and head over to Settings.
