Samsung SM-G906S (another variant of S5 Prime? pops put with 1080p display
We have known the Samsung SM-G906 — and whatever that’s added at the back (eg., SM-G906K, SM-G906L) — to be members of the soon to be born Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime family. But then we saw a totally different sets of specs for this new one called SM-G906S that was found on AnTuTu benchmark site.
The Samsung SM-G906S, instead of the Quad HD display (1440 x 2560) on the other supposed variants of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, had a lower Full HD display of 1080 x 1920 resolution.
It even had a slower CPU compared to the others. A Snapdragon 801 and 2GB of RAM — exactly as it’s found on the normal Samsung Galaxy S5. The phone has the regular 5.2-inch display that’s found in all Galaxy S5’s versions.
For now, we can’t even guess very well. With the aim of the S5 Prime being to bring more premium quality and specs, we can’t say much for the Samsung SM-G906S and it might turn out it’s not even part of the Galaxy S5 Prime bandwagon.
