Samsung SM-Z130H is the Tizen phone we told you about
Still trying to push the Tizen OS frenzy, Samsung has actually made a phone with the platform and it looks like we have a name. The Samsung SM-Z130H (just codename, not final name) was registered on Samsung’s user agent profile website recently.
Having a FWVGA (480 x 800 pixels) display, the phone’s actual physical screen size is still unknown but we are guessing a 4-inch measurement. The SM-Z130H is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and is running on Tizen OS, version 2.3, as the document cited. An unconfirmed report says the phone will be having a3.2-megapixel camera and 512MB RAM — that part should be diluted with a pinch of salt.
An unidentified SM-Z130H/DS was seen at the FCC sometime ago packing a dual SIM configuration and that was earlier this month.
Samsung has been reported in working on a low-end Tizen-powered smartphone for India and interestingly, this Samsung SM-Z130H perfectly matches the footprints. That’s all the information we have on Tizen OS for now, we’ll keep you updated in the next move.
