Samsung Tagged as Apple’s Future iPhone Storage
For several years, Apple used TLC NAND as its Flash storage for all of its iPhone device, to boil everything fast, that device chip found on iPhone where data has been save is an important hardware component, , in fact some iPhone models year ago came under fire for poor performing Flash.
Now, recent rumor suggests that the top mobile brand will be switching back to Samsung and will leave TLC.
For those who don’t know, Samsung supplies component for Apple device, together with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co–company’s for A9 processors for company’s latest iPhone device. Over several years, Apple tried to decrease its total reliance on Samsung given the fact that it’s a major competitor.
The concept seem to be changing as time goes by, ETNews revealed Wednesday that Samsung for the first time will now work to provide iPhone component identified as NAND Flash for future Apple iPhones.
Rumors also suggest that Apple is possibly talking to AMOLED panels by Samsung for its 2017 iPhones. This is not a major issue for the users as they done care who makes the device components of their Smartphone’s as long as it function well. But one might change mind when Apple decides to bump its device storage up to 256 gigabytes capacity in which this was already offered by Samsung.
