Samsung trolls Apple iPhone 6s in new ad “It’s Not a Phone, It’s a Galaxy”
Apple and Samsung’s legendary rivalry has been in existence nearly since smartphones became full touchscreen-based. Apple has sued their Korean rivals of copying some of their products in a copyright suit where they alleged that Samsung infringed some of the California-based iPhone maker’s patents. In return, Samsung filed a number of court cases against Apple but most importantly, never failed to remind the US outfit of where their products suck.
When Sammy trolled iPhone users of being “wall huggers” last year, it pained Apple so much that they had to review their advertising ideas seriously, however, no one ever saw what was coming when it was revealed that Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S6 — unveiled on 1st March 2015 — has indeed arrived to turn Samsung users into wall huggers themselves.
To prove that the Samsung army is less comprised of wall socket admirers aka wall huggers, the South Korean company yesterday uploaded a video on YouTube which displays the magical performance of the built-in wireless charging system on the Galaxy S6, mocking Apple’s iPhone (which didn’t come with such technology) in the process.
This comes a few days after the duo of Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus were unveiled and you can perceive the whole aim of the video is to cut Apple fans from buying any of the two handsets and rather get a Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 edge instead.
We don’t know how far the stunt will go in convincing prospective iPhone 6s customers from ordering the handsets when they are released on September 25 but we’ll like to thank Samsung for all the comedy: Thanks for keeping the stage dramatized, Sammy.
