Samsung will also reveal a Gear Solo smartwatch at the IFA
Alongside the Galaxy Note 4, a new report suggests that Samsung might reveal a new smartwatch on September 3.
Another report earlier this year hinted that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will come preloaded with a Gear smartwatch inside the box.
Though it wasn’t mentioned if the Samsung Gear Solo will be released with Google’s Android Wear or Samsung’s preferred wearable OS, Tizen.
However, recent developments point that the strained relationship between Samsung and Google, will make Samsung select Tizen OS by default. The Koreans were seen loading Tizen on the first Galaxy Gear which was released with Android.
For the records, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is coming with a 5.7″ Quad HD display, 3GB of RAM, 16MP (or 13MP OIS-enabled?) camera and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 chipset running at 2.5GHz. Another version will be packing Samsung’s Exynos 5433 processor instead.
