Samsung Z LTE headed out as the next Tizen handset
With sour memories, Samsung’s failed Z smartphone of 2014 comes to mind. You see, the Samsung Z was announced as the first ever Tizen smartphone, however, the idea of a new OS never settled with app developers and most of them abandoned Samsung, Tizen and the Z midway — the Samsung Z was never released.
Samsung went ahead to release a much cheaper Tizen phone, the Samsung Z1, which according to the media, is moving just fine in sales in Asia (India and Bangladesh to be precise).
Months later — this morning, we got live pictures of an alleged Samsung Z LTE which could be making it’s way to the market anytime soon. While the new handset is not a variant of the Z as it packs no physical similarities with the 2014 Tizen mobile phone, we suspect the it’s an LTE version of the $100-priced Samsung Z1.
No specs or features info came along with the shots but we hope details of the Samsung Z LTE are on the way surely, and we’ll keep you posted if there’s any updates.
