Samsung’s Galaxy Note series cruises past 38 million unit sales
When Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note 1 in 2011, not everybody believed the phablet line will make it to a third generation, let alone making it up to 38 million units in sales.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was just announced last week at the IFA, expected to “surpass its predecessors”, the Note 1 and Note 2, who jointly accounted for the 38 million unit sales of the Samsung Galaxy Note line. Samsung Mobile Communications chief, JK Shin who made the boast added that the Note 2 is available in 128 countries but the Note 3 is expected to do better.
