Samsung’s Galaxy S4 shatters company record
Just two weeks after the Galaxy S4 was released, the Korean mobile phone maker announced that 6 million units of the device has been sold, 75% of the sales coming in the first two days of release.
The phone sold a little beyond expectation as analysts expected stiff opposition from Sony Xperia Z and HTC One.
It should be noted that it took 21 days for the Samsung Galaxy S III to reach 3 million sales, while the Galaxy S II needed 55 days. The Galaxy S had registered 3 million sales 85 days after release.
