Samsung’s will soon launch the ‘world’s first’ LTE-Advanced phone’, S4 sales still going strong
Samsung’s co-CEO JK Shin says Samsung will soon launch a new Samsung Galaxy S4 variant which will become the ‘world’s first’ LTE-Advanced phone’ which could transmit data up to double the speed of the current 4G technology mobile phones currently have.
“As operators seek to provide more data-centric mobile services, I think this will become mainstream 4G technology globally in the coming years”, Shin said.
He added that “(Samsung Galaxy) S4 sales remain strong. It’s selling far stronger than the (Galaxy) S III … and the new LTE-Advanced (4G) phone will be another addition to our high-end segment offerings that ensure healthy profit margins.”
