SanDisk Launches New 400GB MicroSD Card, iXpand For iPhones
The IFA 2017 is witnessing the release of several technological improvements, one of which is the latest unveiling of the SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card with a 400 GB capacity.
Yes, the storage device card can accommodate as much as 400 GB of data and the tech company also unveiled the SanDisk iXpand Base for iPhones which enables the Apple product and its users automatically back up files and photos using a charger or portable hard drive.
The new microSD card from the tech company has managed to rear its head at a time when smartphone users have been known to need additional storage spaces on their devices.
WD reports that over 150 billion applications are expected to surface in 2017 alone, one which will ultimately need a larger storage memory leading to the concept behind the storage device.
The new 400GB capacity microSD card will allow users to transfer files at a speed of 100MB/s which is calculated to be at 1,200 photos per minute.
The SD card also comes with 10-year warranty and will be made available for£224.99.
The iPhone iXpand base can also store up to 256GB of data and sells for between $49.99 and $199.99.
