Second wave of release brings iPhone 6 to 22 more countries on Sept 26
Apple has launched the iPhone 6 and all the nice words at the Keynote by CEO Tim Cook are all gone, now is time for the United States outfit to get it’s hands dirty and bring the smartphones to the hands of millions of eager buyers across the globe.
The pre-order button is already available for those living in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, the US and the UK, while shipping is expected to begin this Friday.
The list includes Austria,Belgium , Denmark , Finland , Ireland , Isle of Man , Italy , Liechtenstein , Luxembourg , Netherlands , New Zealand , Norway , Portugal , Qatar , Russia , Saudi Arabia , Spain , Sweden , Switzerland , Taiwan , Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.
A pilot delivering a 195,000-unit iPhone 6 haulage from China to Alaska has posted a proud picture of himself and the shipment.
“Yep, that’s what I do. I fly stuff. Privileged to be a small part of the Apple supply chain. Just landed a 747 full of iPhone 6’s in Anchorage. Another crew will take the airplane on to Chicago. It’ll be on the ground at O’hare about 9am Sept. 15. I gave it a little extra gas coming over the Pacific, just to get them here a little quicker. You’re welcome”, user goforblacksky posted.
We don’t know if this is a publicity stunt by Apple or not but whatever it is seems to be working for Apple as the company received a record-breaking 4 million pre-orders for the two new iPhones in their first 24 hours.
