Sharp Aquos R Compact officially unveiled
Sharp has officially pulled back the covers on yet another smartphone coming just weeks after the tech company revealed the Sharp Aquos S2 device.
The latest device from the tech company, dubbed the Sharp Aquos R Compact comes indeed with a compact design at its launch in Japan earlier today.
The Sharp Aquos R Compact comes into the market as a sequel and addition to the Aquos R smartphone which was released earlier in the year.
The latest device comes packing no bezels on the three sides unlike the predecessor, Aquos R.
For specs, the Aquos R Compact comes into the market with a 4.9-inch FHD+ display and a display resolution pegged at 2,032 x 1,080 pixels. Under the hood, the device packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage space which can further be expanded using a microSD card.
The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor under the hood and for the camera packs a main camera unit pegged at 16.4MP while the front panel hosts an 8MP camera sensor.
Other specs include the 2,500 mAh battery loaded under the hood equipped with support for Quick Charge 3.0.
Connectivity wise, the device boasts of a USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, and an IP68 rating.
