Sonic the Hedgehog finally comes to mobile, Android and iOS first
SEGA Corporation, the video game maker company that was dominant in the 80’s and 90’s with their popular Sega Mega video game console, has remastered and released their classic Sonic The Hedgehog game for Android and iOS devices.
People who enjoyed Sonic the Hedgehog on their Sega Mega console can now enjoy playing the rolling hedgehog game on their iPhones and Android devices like it was in the 90’s by purchasing the game on Appstore and Google Play respectively for just $2.99 USD.
According to the descrition on the product page on Google Play, “The Sonic game which started it all is now optimized for mobile devices!
Race at lightning speeds across seven classic zones as Sonic the Hedgehog. Run and spin through loop-de-loops as you collect rings and defeat enemies on your mission to save the world from the evil Dr. Eggman.”
Nothing has been said about when and if at all Sonic the Hedgehog will be available for other platforms like Windows Phone, Blackberry OS and Symbian.
