Sony launches Xperia Z3 Dual and Z3 Compact in the UAE
Sony, one of the few veteran electronic companies in the world left in the mobile phone industry, has arrived the United Arab Emirates with their latest flagships.
The two Android offerings come with dust and water resistance so there shouldn’t be any problems taking your phone to a swimming pool or even leaving it on the bare floor to play with dust (who even does that?).
Sony Xperia Z3 Dual
The one SIM version of the Xperia Z3 is more wildly known but due to market demands, Sony has launched the dual SIM version of the smartphone in the UAE.
The Sony Xperia Z3 Dual features a 5.2-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution. There’s 3GB of RAM as well as 16GB on-board storage which can be increased via a microSD card slot.
The smartphone runs on Android 4.4, has a 20.7MP camera and a 3200mAh battery. The cost of the Xperia Z3 Dual in the UAE is DH 2,999 which amounts to roughly $816 US dollars.
Sony Xperia Z3 Compact
In case your the first smartphone is too big for your hands, the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is for you. Holding together a 4.6″ 720p display, the phone packs similar internals of it’s bigger sibling including a 20.7MP camera and quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor though the RAM is clocked down to 2GB.
The Xperia Z3 Compact is priced DH 2,499 ($680) in the Emirates.
