Two weeks after they were introduced at the 2014 IFA trade conference in Berlin, Germany, Sony has released the third generation Xperia Z in Asia, alongside it’s smaller Z3 Compact sibling and two other wearables that also debuted at the event.
Sony Xperia Z3 Pricing
The Sony Xperia Z3 is going to be Sony’s flagship smartphone for the next, say, six months at least. The product comes with a 5.2″ Full HD screen, 3GB of RAM, 20.7MP OIS camera, Snapdragon 801 processor and a sealed 3100mAh battery.
The Xperia Z3 will hit the shelves in Singapore on 4th October at the price of S$998 (US$798) while Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand will get the Android 4.4.4 KitKat-powered smartphone later in October even though prices hasn’t disclosed for now.
Sony Xperia Z3 Compact
The alternative Sony flagship, save for the 4.6-inch 720 x 1280 pixels screen and 2600mAh battery, retains every other thing you can find on it’s bigger brother.
The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is priced S$798 ($638) in Singapore, the other aforementioned markets will follow shortly after October 4th.
Sony Xperia E3
The phone is priced S$298 ($238) though Sony hasn’t revealed exact dates for the release of the device.
SmartWatch 3 and SmartBand Talk
These two will hit Asian markets at S$228 ($182) and S$298 ($238) respectively before the end of next month.
