Sony officially unveils Xperia XZ2, XZ2 Compact at MWC 2018
Sony has finally pulled back the covers on the much awaited second generation of the Xperia XZ family.
The flagship pair, Xperia XZ2 and the Xperia XZ2 Compact were both unveiled in Barcelona at the company’s stand today.
The smartphones which gained the much needed attention at the event comes into the market with some pretty fabulous specs and design changes to include the curved sides, arching backs and 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front panel.
Both smartphones, the XZ2 and XZ2 Compact debuts with an anti-twist metal frame along with a Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the back panel for the XZ2.
The latest duo come with the trendy new 18:9 aspect ratio with the taller variant, the XZ2 packing a 5.7-inch display while the Compact variant boasts of a 5.0-inch display.
For the camera, the smartphone boasts of a 19MP sensor running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 powered devices.
Additional information in terms of the specs revealed that both devices pack 4GB of RAM under the hood paired with 64GB of UFS ROM along with support for microSD card for further memory expansion.
As for the available colors, the Xperia XZ2 will be available in Liquid Black, Liquid Silver, Deep Green (Petroleum Blue) and Ash Pink colors, while the XZ2 Compact will come in Black, White Silver, Moss Green and Coral Pink options.
