Sony unveils Sony SmartWatch 2 running Android OS
Sony has today announced Sony SmartWatch 2, an IP57-certified water-resistant Android that is equipped with Bluetooth and NFC, just like any other modern-day smartphone.
The watch has a 1.6-inch display with a resolution of 220 x 176 pixels and the body is made of plastic. Sony says the watch can make calls, send and receive text messages, emails and stuff. The Japanese company promised the Sony SmartWatch 2 will be faster than it’s predecessor, the Sony SmartWatch 1 but we haven’t gotten much specifications of the Sony SmartWatch 2. The watch will start selling worldwide in September.
