Sony unveils Xperia Z1 Compact at at CES 2014
We can call this a mini of the Sony Xperia Z1, but this is no ordinary mini. This one has almost all the specs in the regular Xperia Z1.
Measuring 127 x 64.9 x 9.5 mm and weighing 137 grams, the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact has a 4.3″ HD Triluminous IPS display which sets the PPI score at 341.
The Xperia Z1 Compact is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800(2.2GHz Krait 400 CPU) processor, Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.3 initially but Sony has a planned upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat already. There’s a 16GB inbuilt storage and a microSD card slot for another 64GB of storage space.
The smartphone features a 20.7-megapixel Carl Zeiss, and a 2MP front-facer. Both cameras can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. It has a 2300mAh battery and comes in Black, White, Pink, Lime and Yellow color options.
