Sony Xperia E1 becomes available in India for €115
Sony kicked off it’s entry-level campaign this year with the unveiling of the Xperia E1 at the 2014 CES in January.
The smartphone has been launched in India today. The single SIM model goes for INR 9750 (€115) while the dual SIM reincarnation goes for INR 9990 (€118).
Sony Xperia E1 succeeds the Xperia E with a few spec bumps here and there: A 4-inch 854 x 480 pixels ‘scratch-resistant’ display, Snapdragon 200 processor with dual-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and Adreno 302 graphics and 0.5GB of RAM.
To justify it’s aggressive pricing the Xperia E1 has only a 3.2MP camera and the user has to adjust to life without selfies and camera flash light.
The phone has a 1750mAh battery and is available in white, black and purple.
