Sony Xperia M2 announced, bringing in the ‘new midrange’ experience
Smartphones has improved, spec-wise and otherwise; and Sony wants you to know that a midranger in 2014 shouldn’t be the same as a midranger in 2012.
Sony Xperia M2 has a 4.8-inch touchscreen and LTE. Not possible with a midranger? Sony is here to prove you wrong. The Xperia M2 has a qHD (540×960) resolution and a 230 PPI. It has an 8MP camera with Exmor RS but nothing has been said about a secondary camera (sure, there must be one).
The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM and Android 4.3 Jely Bean. It has 8GB of storage (and probably, space for storage extension via memory cards).
The Xperia M2 has a 2330mAh battery and will be available globally in April, in black, white and purple colors.
