Sony Xperia UL announced for Japan
Running a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) CPU and an overwhelming 2 gigabytes of RAM, Sony’s Xperia UL — the new flagship phone the company has just announced for it’s home country, Japan — will sure raise eyebrows across the globe as this phone looks nothing but a international-standard flagship device.
Wait till you hear the rest. The phone sports a 5-inch 1080p touchscreen and a 13.1 megapixel camera that can shoot up to 15 frames per second. The phone comes with NFC (yea, the wireless charging and quick file transfer ish) and Sony’s trademark dust and water resistant aluminum body. Sony customers in Japan are sure going to have yet another wonderful flagship option to choose from when this phone will be released. The Sony Xperia UL also features the FeliCa contact-less RFID smart card system which enable users to pay at point of sales machines by just holding out their phones close to the machine. FeliCa payment system is also owned by Sony and works with the phones NFC connectivity.
Sony stated that the phone will debut on “KDDI’s au network in white, black and pink colors on May 25th”
