Sony Xperia XZ2 image, specs leak
Ahead of the official unveiling of the Sony Xperia XZ2 smartphone which is expected to come into the market as a successor to the XZ which was released last year, fresh information regarding the specs and what to expect from the tech company has surfaced online.
Sony appears to be gearing up towards design changes as the expected smartphone which will most likely be launched on Monday at the MWC 2018 will come with improved designs.
The device along with its smaller counterpart, the Xperia XZ2 Compact will come packing the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood and come into the market as the first 18:9 aspect ratio device.
As for specs, the XZ2 is expected to come with a 5.7-inch display with a 1080 pixel resolution according to information revealed by Evan Blass, a popular tipster.
On the camera front, the Xperia XZ2 is expected to feature upgrades over the XZ Premium camera.
Other changes made tp the Xperia XZ2 includes the location of the fingerprint reader from the front to the back and also the removal of the 3.5mm audio jack.
Both the XZ2 Compact and the larger XZ2 will also be getting battery upgrades with the larger one getting a 3,180mAh battery and the smaller one, a 2,870mAh capacity battery.
