Sony Xperia Z line of devices get new software update
We brought some news your way not quite long ago of the Sony Xperia Z5 line of devices and the new update that is being rolled out to them and even though we didn’t have any information on what this ne does or the entire changelog, we did give the build version that it takes your smartphone to.
Well, it turns out that the same update which bumps the Z5 devices up from a build number of 32.2.A.0.253 to 32.2.A.0.305 is also rolling out to others in the Xperia line-up such as Xperia Z3+ and the Xperia Z4 Tablet.
As regards what it does, it brings on the normal tweaks and improvement functions that we see with any new software rollout and also, the latest Android security patches comes with it.
Asides from these though, this is looking mainly like just a maintenance update and it would do nothing big to the existent Marshmallow 6.0 that runs on the aforementioned smartphones.
Having already mentioned that it is an OTA update, you should do well to wait for your notification or just manually request one if you are feeling impatient.
