Sony Xperia Z4 early rumors: 5.4″ Quad HD display, 4GB RAM, others
Reports have it that Sony will unveil the fourth edition of it’s Xperia Z phablet at the 2015 CES billed for Las Vegas on 5th January next year. That’s a four-month space from when the Xperia Z3 was launched back in September.
According to early gossip we got (thanks to PhoneArena), the Sony Xperia Z4 will land with a 5.4-inch 1440 x 2560 pixels (QHD) Triluminos display (allegedly pictured above). We also heard the phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor inside alongside 4GB of RAM. The same source claims that Sony plans to use the same 20.7-megapixel camera which is found on the Xperia Z3 for the upcoming smartphone, albeit, a 4.8MP sensor will be used for the front-facing camera of the phone.
Moving on, Sony is said to also be prepping a 5.9″ Xperia Z4 Ultra which will sport the same 4GB RAM and Snapdragon 805 processor. Meanwhile the Sony Xperia Z4 Ultra will rock a 16MP camera and dual LED flash. This device is also expected to break cover at the CES also.
For now, all these are to be digested with a pint of salt (you know the routine). Until we lay our hands on something that’s official then we can believe what we are told. So for now, no source is 100 % trusted.
