Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet promises high end specs ahead of MWC unveiling
Sony will ultimately be unveiling the Xperia Z4 Tablet on during the course of the 2015 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month. Though the information is something that was kept secret up till now but thanks to the eager eyes of our friends at XperiaBlog (an unofficial Sony blog), we not only know that be we also know what to expect of the tablet when it finally breaks cover.
According to information inadvertently disclosed by a webpage on Sony’s official website, the Xperia Z4 Tablet will pack a 2K display (possibly 1600 x 2560 pixels) and will feature a “leading battery performance” and “the latest ultra fast processor” — the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset naturally comes to mind here. The page has been pulled down since then.
People with knowledge of the matter have earlier suggest that Sony is going to use a 10.1-inch touchscreen panel on the device, alongside 4GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. The tablet is expected to run on Android 5.0 Lollipop while the possibility of water resistance — like in the Xperia Z2 Tablet — isn’t ruled out yet.
