Sony Xperia Z5 Prime/Premium has an ULTRA HD display with 801 PPI, fingerprint sensor
On the 2nd day of September, Japanese phone maker Sony will introduce 3 smart mobile phones from its Xperia Z lineup. Until now, much details of the devices were being known but thanks to Sony Georgia’s update on Facebook, we now have a glimpse of what Sony is about unleash.
Firstly, the Sony Xperia Z5 itself is said to sport a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen. Next in line is the Xperia Z5 Compact, packing a 4.6-inch screen with 720p resolution. However, if you crave for monster specs, the third one — Sony Xperia Z5 Premium — should be on your list.
Sony Georgia says that this beast of a device will pack a 5.5-inch display that has 4K / UltraHD (2160 x 3840 pixels) resolution, summing to an off-the-chart PPI of 801. The handset is also featuring a fingerprint sensor, while a 23-megapixel camera (that likely has OIS) with a super-fast 0.1-second hybrid “PDAF” autofocus, F1.8 aperture and 1 / 2.2-inch sensor size, is doing the camera job.
If these reports are true, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium/Prime will become the first mobile phone with a whopping 4K display and the first whose pixel density score has crossed 600 PPI.
