Sprint rolls out Marshmallow update to HTC One (E8) users
The users of the HTC One (E8) might have lost all hope that they would also get to enjoy the features of the Android Marshmallow 6.0 but Sprint seems to think otherwise as the carrier started to roll out the update to this software platform to the users of this kind of device on their network.
The update doesn’t just take the device to the latest android OS version till date but also bumps up the software version of the smartphone and as claimed by the company, contains the latest security updates and patches till date. Killing two birds with one stone, isn’t it?
This is an OTA update and if there’s something that we have learnt about this kinds of update rollouts over the years, it is that it could take you a while to get this notification to pop up on your own smartphone. If the wait is stifling already, just go to settings and manually request for new updates.
