Sprint starts pushing out Nougat update to HTC 10 units on its network
The US carriers are having a field day with serving the users of various units that were purchased on their network with the Nougat, and it seems that you might just get a bump if you are lucky enough before the day runs out too. Earlier today, the users of the LG G5 on AT&T’s network were graced with the Nougat and now, it is the time of HTC 10 units to enjoy the same kind of tasty treat.
For those that are using the HTC 10 in the United States, and have their devices registered to the Sprint network, you would soon be getting an update that would take the software build on your handset to 2.42.651.6, and that is just the update that finally brings the Nougat 7.0 to your table. It is being rolled out as an OTA update and according to reports, it weighs in at a massive 1.3GB of data.
Make sure you are connected to a good Wi-Fi network and also, a charging source if your backup power is not that much.
Asides from the obvious bump in the software, the official changelog has also made mention of some exhalents in the system.
