T-Mobile starts rolling out Nougat update to the Galaxy S7 flagships
Today has to be the day of Samsung, and to be specific, those Samsung users that have opted for the latest flagship that the OEM has in the market – the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge units. After we have seen the Nougat start hitting units of this device in Taiwan, the US is not planning to be left out too.
If you own either of the Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge species, and you are registered to the T-Mobile network, it would interest you to know that the bump has finally arrived for your device too. For now, the update is still being selectively rolled out to the S7 Edge units that were involved in the beta programme, but it is not foolish to assume that it is coming to the standard variants soon too.
The update is not as large as we have hoped, rolling in at just 117MB in size, but that can be explained by the fact that these units were already on the beta version of Android 7 software. Overall, you also get the Android security fixes for the month of January.
