TCL Idol X+ outed, 5″ 1080p dipslay, $329 price-tag in tow
TCL is the powerhouse behind Acatel Idol series. The Chinese phone manufacture has announced it’s latest flagship device — the Idol X+. As with previously TCL Idol phones, the Idol X+ is safe to say, going to be marketed as Acatel Idol X+ outside of China.
TCL Idol X+ comes with a 5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. An octa-core 2GHz MediaTek MT6592 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage keeps the phone running Android OS smoothly. The smartphone is just 7.9-milimeter thick and weighs only 120 grams.
The Idol X+ packs a 13MP camera with LED flash. It supports two SIM cards on either TD-SCDMA or WCDMA network and has a 2500mAh battery.
The TCL Idol X+ comes with a mysterious smartwatch-like arm band called Boom Band and is priced at 1,999 yuan, that’s roughly $329.
