Telus let’s slip the time when we could get the Nougat 7.0 release
As fast or slow as we are moving towards the release of the smartphones that would carry on the name of the Nexus line for the year 2016 (provided Google doesn’t make true on rumours and opt for a different branding name altogether), we are approaching the launch of the latest android OS in the same time too. Leaked to be coming with naming of Nougat, the Marshmallow successor still hasn’t been talked about officially and we have been left guessing the release date but with Telus’ latest slip, we might have a date to circle off on our calendars.
The Canadian mobile carrier released some info that pertains to the fact that they would be releasing updates to the Nougat 7.0 OS out to their users that have the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P units and in this report, they let slide that the Nougat would be arriving on the 22nd of this month. This follows the same timeline that LG has announced to roll out the software to select users of its G5 smartphone in South Korea.
There is a schedule that has already been published in images but instead of taking this as the gospel, we advise that you just hold it as someone’s educated guess given the amount of rumours we have heard already. For now, let’s just expect the Nougat.
