The DTEK60 leaks in new, clearer images and showcases a design upgrade
The DTEK50 that was earlier launched from the stables of Blackberry has not be in the market for many months but even on top of that, the Canadian OEM is already looking to build upon the good work that they did with this mid-range device by launching an higher version of it into the market and named the DTEK60, we have no doubt that this one would be taking on the coat of a flagship instead of a midrange again.
This phone is destined to be made by TCL, the same producer that makes Alcatel phones, and there are bound to be similarities as we have seen in the recently leaked images of the device.
In comparison to the predecessor, thus new one is a very good and welcome upgrade in terms of its design and we don’t need to tell you before you know that the innards and specs won’t be left out of this upgrade package also. With slightly curved edges on both the front and behind, there have been previous reports that this one would come with a 5.5 inch of screen, sport the QUALCOMM snapdragon 820 chipset and run with 4GB of RAM paired with an internal storage space of 32GB.
As regards camera, there would be a 21MP unit on the back and the front is with an 8MP shooter, all powered by a 3000mAh battery.
To round of the interesting report, this would be the first phone from BB to use a fingerprint sensor.
