The Huawei Mate 8 gets an official price cut of about $80 equivalent in China
The Huawei Mate 8 is nearly a year old now since it was launched back on October of last year and because of that, the management of the Chinese OEM has thought it right to give even more people the chance to afford this smartphone and sell it for a reduced price.
Officially, the Huawei Mate 8 has now received a price cut in China which means that the smartphone which normally sold for RMB 2999 would now cost just RMB 2699. Converting that to dollars, that was an initial price of about $480 and price cut to $400, representing an $80 shave off the smartphone.
The handset is already listed for this reduced price from Vmall and f you are going for it, know that you would be getting the variant that has 32GB of internal storage space coupled to 3GB RAM.
For this kind of price cut to have taken place now, it simply means that we would be getting to see the Mate 9 sometimes soon.
