The new Pixel XL (HTC Marlin) shows up on GeekBench
We have been hearing about one of the latest Nexus smartphones to be made by HTC and we have been patiently waiting for what Google would name these ones. It then came as a surprise to us when Google decided to drop the entire Nexus branding system and use the Pixel nomenclature instead, turning the ones we have come to now as the HTC Nexus Marlin to the Pixel XL.
After this name leak, his smartphone has visited GeekBench one more time and we have the chance to take a look at the results that it got on there.
Starting from the powerhouse specs, it really does seem that we would be seeing a power combination of snapdragon 820 chipset and pair that with 4GB of RAM.
For the operating system, we already know that the Nougat would be on it but the operating system has been listed as Android NMR1. As regards camera, we have already heard that Sony would be supplying their IMX line-up of cool cameras to these smartphones and with the way that the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P performed in terms of camera, we are expecting that the Pixel and Pixel XL does so much more.
