This is what happens when you take a ‘tiger’ to Disney world
On Monday, a woman tried and failed to take her exotic pet into the Magic Kingdom theme park in Walt Disney World, Florida.
Staff originally thought the animal was a baby Bengal tiger, but Walt Disney World has since confirmed to Inquisitr that it was actually a Bengal cat.
The guest was walking the cat on a lead, and apparently saw no reason why she shouldn’t be allowed to visit the theme park with her pet in tow.
When staff informed her she couldn’t enter, she allegedly became extremely angry and accused them of making up the “no tigers allowed” rule on the spot.
It’s true that Walt Disney World doesn’t have a complete ban on animals. Guide dogs and other service animals are permitted as long as they are kept in control and on a lead.
It’s also true that tigers are not specifically named in the company’s policy.
Nonetheless, it’s hard to argue that theme park staff made the wrong call in this situation.
After a lengthy argument, the woman – who was apparently visiting the US from Dubai – agreed to leave the animal with caretakers from Central Florida Zoo.
