UMi plans the launch of an Extreme UMi Plus, to have 6GB of RAM
It is not the first time that we would see the “Extreme” version of a smartphone launch where everything would be overclocked, starting from the RAM to the internal storage space and so much more, than they were in the base models of such smartphones.
Of recent, we saw the Extreme version of the Xiaomi Mi 5s launch out of China and the latest to join that VIP Club is UMi as they are planning to release the Extreme version of their UMi Plus.
On a normal day, this handset carries 4GB of RAM and pairs that with an Helio P10 chipset but now, they are planning to go all out and max the specs out to generate 6Gb of RAM, use a bigger and better Helio P20 chipset instead and for the juiciest piece of information, equip the device with the latest Android Nougat 7.0 software.
Making the announcement official via their Facebook page, it has also been announced that you could grab yourself a unit of this incoming smartphone under different colour variants such as blue or black as opposed to the grey and gold options on the ordinary UMi Plus.
