Verizon sets Google Pixel’s customers minds at rest, promises fast updates
When people first learnt about the release of the Google Pixel devices in the US, they were looking for something to get angry about and they really did find it – they were angry that of all the ways to launch the smartphone, they made it available through their own official store and only through one carrier in the region.
Now, the carrier being Verizon, people were angered further by the fact that the carrier chosen is known for its untimely updates and also the amount of bloatwares that it always installs on its devices. Google further soared controversy when they stated that as thy release monthly updates to Verizon, the carrier would be in charge of handling the final rollout to customers.
With the issues of anger now reaching a peak among customers, it was then nice for both parties to start clearing the air one after the other. The first thing is the promise that has now been made by Verizon that customers need not worry as they would get the updates to their Pixel devices fast and timely, meaning it would come roughly at the same time as Google rolls it out.
Likewise, the bloatware apps have been kept to a minimum of three which can all be uninstalled as seen fit by the user, ridding the device of all Verizon affiliations. We got the Pixel unlocked now, haven’t we?
