Vivo launches the Vivo Y55s silently in India
Vivo has managed to outdo the leaksters and tipsters this time around, and without as much as a very big event, the company has launched a new device in India today. Named the Vivo Y55s, this unit is a midrange and for that category, it manages to impress too. Without much ado, let’s get to what makes this unit tick, and how much you can get it for.
From the official spec sheet that came with this unit, the Vivo Y55s carries a 5.2-inch screen which has 720p display technology under it. There is a Qualcomm snapdragon 425 processors on board, so don’t expect to run the heavy processes and not get a few lags.
This processor is complemented with 3GB of RAM and an internal storage space of 16GB. Going to the sensors, the rear camera sensor is rated at 13MP, and the main unit is just 5MP good. Carrying a battery of 2730mAh capacity the handset comes preloaded with the FunTouch OS 3.0 (which was built based on the Marshmallow 6.0)
Additionally, the Vivo Y55s offers support for dual SIMs plus a dedicated media card slot. This means that you are not faced with the tough choice that comes with a hybrid slot. Expected to be available in Crown Gold and Space Grey colours from the 26th of February, the Y55s is subtly priced at INR 12,490 ($187).
