Welcome the Micromax Canvas Hue, an 11,000-rupee smartphone with 3000mAh battery
India’s top local phone maker, Micromax, has today taken the veils off a new smartphone it calls the Micromax Canvas Hue. The product was subsequently launched sporting a price tag of INR 10,999 — that’s about $175 using the current exchange rates.
The top highlight of the device was a 3000mAh battery which the company claims can last 30 days on standby using a special built-in power-saving mode. The touchscreen is covered by strengthened Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for scratch resistance. The Canvas Hue also features two SIM card slots and a microSD card port.

Micromax has promised an Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade for the smartphone as the device features OTA capability. Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS and a micro-USB 2.0 port complete the connectivity prowess of the handset.
