Xiaomi Ferrari — next neatly spec’d midranger you might see
Chinese phone maker Xiaomi is planning on something which could have wowed us (too bad we’ve got the spoilers anyway). The title of the product is Xiaomi Ferrari and it looks like somebody at the tech company was testing out the device and ended up splattering the specs on a benchmarks website.
According to the GFXBench page filed in accordance with the handset’s footprints, the Ferrari is coming with a 4.9″ (5 inche) screen with 1080p resolution. The document further lists the smartphone as running on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS and rocking a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipset.
Xiaomi Ferrari will reportedly feature 2GB of RAM and 16GB of in-built memory on board while a 13-megapixel camera and 5MP selfie snapper sit at the rear and front sides respectively. The handset will definitely not lack LTE (due to the capabilities of its processor) and there is a bunch of sensors listed in the features section (compass, gyroscope, pedometer). The Ferrari, according to the listing, will feature a single SIM card slot.
For now, there’s no launch dates or any dates attached to this device as this is the first time we are getting to know about it. We do hope to keep you updated once there’s any gist of Xiaomi’s Ferrari.
