Xiaomi files patent for its own 3D Touch technology
Xiaomi, the second largest Chinese smartphone manufacturer ( after being just recently displaced from first position by Huawei) has sought to strengthen its brand and improve on the quality of its devices by also planning to introduce its own 3D touch feature which has been rumored would be similar to that of the iPhone.
Xiaomi has repeatedly filed a patent as to this regard and if the accusations live out to be true, then this would not be the first time that fingers have been pointed at Xiaomi on the grounds of copying
Also, Samsung has not been left out of the copysphere the Xiaomi has created as although having its own hardware, it still finds the need to take a few pointers from Samsung.
This report is coming after we have also heard that Samsung is working on some sort of 3D Touch that would work on a Synaptics controller for the use of its Galaxy S7 device rumored to be ready for delivery early next year.
