Xiaomi may launch the Note 2 under a new name, Mi Pro
For several weeks and months on end now, we have been generously leaking an upcoming device from Xiaomi that we believe would be released as the Mi Note 2 but according to a new leak, the device could be carrying a different name at launch.
The new leak is courtesy of a setup on Weibo page where a launch was planned for a device that has its name as the Mi Pro instead of the former that has been suggested. We don’t have official information on this yet so it is just best that we stay put.
As we have already come to know via leaks, there’s the possibility of a QUALCOMM snapdragon 821 chipset that would be paired to a 6GB RAM and 64GB internal memory configuration, packing a camera of 13MP on the back and 8MP on the front, all under the 5.7-inch screen. Availability information has also pointed to the 14th of September as when we undoubtedly get to see the unit.
