Xiaomi Meri spotted on benchmarks, runs both GeekBench and AnTuTu
The lovers of leaks and everything smartphones should get in here because we have a juicy one to share. Earlier, we told you about a device that we initially thought to be the Xiaomi Mi 5c and instead, turned out to be one that has been codenamed the “Meri”.
With that former news came images of the device which allowed us see it in different angles but now, we have more than spare specs to release because it has shown up on a benchmark and it scored pretty well too.
First seen on GeekBench, it was listed with 3GB of RAM and an octa core processor that could reach 1.4GHz of clock speed, having the Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed on it.
Going over to AnTuTu then, we can all see that the device has managed to reach a total score of nearly 64,000 on that platform, setting the actual value at 63,581. While this has confirmed to us that it would be a mid-range device, we are now sure that it carries a 5.5 inch of screen which is better than the smaller 5.1 inch that we used to believe and to round things up, we are sure of the chipset being the Mali T864 GPU.
