Xiaomi Mi 4 specs and purported pictures outed ahead of announcement
Xiaomi is one Chinese company killing it in the mobile space. Having sold 26 million smartphones in the upper half of this year alone, a Xiaomi flagship surely is a hype generator for the global media.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 is the next flagship around. With a June 22nd date fixed for the unveiling of the metal-clad smartphone, the press has already gone haywire with the buzz surrounding the unannounced smartphone.
A source who claims to have internal bonds with Xiaomi told us about the specifications of the phone. The intel said the device will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz alongside 3GB of RAM.
The rest of the specs we received is a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) display, a 16MP camera with optical image stabilization and 32GB of storage. And of course there’s LTE, courtesy of the and Snapdragon 801 chip.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 will be powered by a 3,200mAh battery, our source reported.
Meanwhile, an alleged image of the Mi 4 has been posted in a listing by a not-so-popular e-commerce website.
The online retailer said the phone will be sold in “countries such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, Brazil, Vietnam, Turkey, Thailand, and India.”
A $599 price-tag was a shocker that accompanied the listing. However, we know that Xiaomi devices are always sold on the cheap so we find it hard to believe whatever the e-commerce site says for now.
