Xiaomi Mi 5 leak shows Snapdragon 801 is powering upcoming flagship
While Xiaomi won’t let us know what’s inside its upcoming flagship (except that the phone is going to be as “thin as”, “big as”, etc), we are thankful to our tipstars who keep on revealing stuff like this.
The latest alleged leak pictures of the said device, coming from our friends at Nowhereelse.fr shows the yet-to-be-announced smartphone is going to rock a Snapdragon 801 processor instead of the Snapdragon 805 and Snapdragon 810 earlier reports made us to believe at some point.
To add to the disappointment, we saw 2GB of RAM listed instead of the 3GB “or 4GB” we heard on the past. However, this does not stop the Mi 5 from breaking cover on the 15th of January (Thursday). The device is expected to carry a 5.5-inch or 5.2-inch display and we are yet to confirm if the alleged 16MP camera is still very much alive or is going to go down in the list of busted bubbles.
