Xiaomi Redmi 1s could go on it’s final sale in India tomorrow
So you wanted to buy the Xiaomi Redmi 1s and you live in India? You might as well want to do that when the company holds their flash sales tomorrow as this will be the final time the product will be available on sale officially in the country.
We all know how ‘hard’ it could get to buy a Xiaomi smartphone during one of those flash sales. Within seconds, Xiaomi and Flipkart have claimed large stocks of the Redmi 1s have been purchased, a feat we’ve witnessed the company achieve in other regions even before their advent in India.
Tuesday November 25th, Xiaomi will roll out it’s spanking-new Redmi Note smartphone in the Asian country. A unit will cost INR 8,999 as the phone maker announced. The ‘old’ Redmi 1s will also go on sale for it’s usual price of INR 5,999. However, after that, it’s going to be the end of Xiaomi Redmi 1s in India.
The company says it will bring the smartphone back someday but ‘someday’ seems too wide for us to believe especially now there are newer smartphones already in the works like the Redmi Note 2. So tell us, are you buying the Redmi 1s tomorrow?
