Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro launches with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage
To celebrate the massive success of the Redmi brand this year, Chinese phone maker Xiaomi has introduced a variant of the Redmi 2 smartphone with 2GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro, as the new handset is moniker’d, steps out with an upgraded storage — 16GB of in-built memory as against 8GB found on the regular Xiaomi Redmi 2 — however, all other specs remain the same on paper.
For the records, the Redmi 2 Pro sports a 4.7″ HD touchscreen, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, 1,2Ghz quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage, microSD card slot, Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 8MP camera, 2MP front facer — all backed by a 2,200mAh battery.
Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro is already on sale at several online stores (without registration and flash sales). The LTE dual SIM smartphone is available on Gearbest for $130.
